Zhejiang International Studies University (ZISU for short) is a public university with a harmonious community, extensive external connections, and an international environment.It is situated in Hangzhou City, capital of Zheijiang Province.This city is renowned for its fabulous scenery and leading role in China's international business and trade. It serves as the host of the G20 Summit in 2016 and the 19th Asian Games.With a population of over 12 milion, Hangzhou provides ZISU students with limitless opportunities forinternships, cultural experience, and social participation.
zISU places a high value on internationalization. It has been dedicating much effort in recruiting more overseas students and experienced professors, expanding its international exchange and cooperation programs, optimizing campus services,and providing more development opportunities for overseas faculty and students. Here at ZISU, both the Chinese and overseas faculty and students are empowered to pursue their ambitions and achieve excellence.Furthermore, we seek to keep strengthening our talent training, scientific research, social services, cultural inheritance and innovation, and international collaboration, thus establishing ZISU into an incubator for internationalized talents, a think tank for the local opening up,and a promoter of international cultural and educational exchanges with increasing influence in Zheijiang Province.
Company History
The school was first founded in 1955. In 2010, the school changed its names to Zhejiang International Studies University.
In 2024, Zhejing Provincial Government and Peking University signed the agreement on supporting ZISU's development.
