The Department of Finance at Baylor University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track faculty appointment beginning Fall 2026. Appointing Unit: Department of Finance Rank/Title: Clinical Assistant Professor or Lecturer Faculty, Finance Discipline: Finance Status: Full-time, non-tenure-track faculty appointment Anticipated Start Date: Fall 2026
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver high-impact instruction and mentorship to undergraduate Finance students.
Engage actively in departmental and university service.
Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and continuous improvement.
Advance Baylor University's Christian mission through teaching and service.
(Strongly desired) Lead and support Finance Career Management initiatives, including student career readiness, internship placement, and industry engagement-strong professional networks and employer relationships are highly desirable.
Support Baylor University's Christian mission through teaching and service.

Requirements
Qualifications: Required Qualifications
For Clinical Assistant Professor: Terminal degree (Ph.D. or DBA) in Finance or a closely related field
For Lecturer Faculty: Master's degree in Finance or a closely related field, combined with substantial professional experience
Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching and student mentorship
Strong alignment with Baylor University's Christian mission and values
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in academic clinical teaching
Strong industry connections and a proven ability to engage employers and alumni in support of student career development
Evidence of scholarly activity or sustained professional engagement
Experience in curriculum development and assessment
