THE UNIVERSITY OF SCRANTON

The University of Scranton Department of Economics and Finance invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor in Finance beginning in August 2022.

Requirements

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB accredited institution. Exceptional candidates with a DBA in Finance from an AACSB accredited institution will also be considered, ABD’s near completion from an AACSB accredited institution may also be considered, but the successful candidate will be expected to complete all requirements for their doctoral degree prior to joining the department. Faculty are expected to have a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. Teaching responsibilities will be at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Derivative Securities, Advanced Corporate Finance, and Introduction to Finance. Industry experience and/or the CFA credential are a plus. The salary and benefits package will be competitive.
