The University of MichiganFlint seeks highly qualified applicants for a tenure track position in Finance, beginning Fall 2024.  A commitment to, and evidence of teaching excellence is expected, with experience and interest in teaching flexible online and in-person hybrid courses is preferred.

Requirements

Preference may be given to innovative teacher scholars who can teach broad range of finance specializations such as Advanced Corporate Finance Applications, Financial Strategy, Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management; as well as research and/or teaching interest in topics reflecting recent developments in financial sector such as FinTech.  UM-Flint is an excellent institution for candidates looking for a balance between teaching and research, with a three course per term teaching load and generous support for research.  Faculty in the department are research active, targeting and publishing in well-regarded peer-reviewed journals.
