The School of Business and Economics at Maastricht University, The Netherlands, offers one and potentially two tenure-track Assistant Professorship positions in Finance.

In this position, you contribute to research and teaching in finance. The department has strong research groups and related teaching in sustainable finance, behavioral finance, real estate, financial econometrics, asset pricing, and banking. Researchers at the Finance department make use of the school’s well-established experimental BEE-lab and are supported by our graduate school. We host two weekly seminar series (external and internal), provide active mentoring for junior faculty and have a large and active PhD community. Typical teaching duties for an assistant professor include coordinating and teaching two courses (each 7 weeks), as well as bachelor/master thesis supervision. Candidates have the option of engaging in postgraduate education is given at the MBA level and in our executive leadership programmes. Administrative duties are limited to (teaching) coordinatorships for assistant professors.
